Here is the texture font that I did. I took a close up photo of some nice green grass. Then I typed transparent text over and had it fill in the text (Impact). For the second one I tried to do all the erasing and stuff to make it look splotchy and fancy, but I'm not sure how well it goes with a grass font...
That's a really cool texture. It looks like you did the it just the way you're supposed to. I agree that it looks better without the grungy look (it doesn't really go with the nature feel), but it's always good to know the skill, right? Nice job.
