1. The optical illusion part of this shot is unedited, but I still did a few edits on the photo. I ran the rusty cage action on it, burned the edges, and cropped it.

2. This is my edit. I cut out the pool balls form shot three and moved them around in the air on shot four. I adjusted the size of the balls smaller and larger to change their depth of field, and I also tried to add a few shadows so it would look more realistic. Then I burned the edges of the photo.

3. This was just a shot of the table with the same lighting and camera position so that I could cut the balls from it.

4. This was the shot that I used with just Cindy, as you can see. I didn't tell her what I was going to do with the photo cause I wanted to surprise her, so I just told her to look dumbfounded. Actually, I lied. I actually used the word confused, not dumbfounded when I had her pose, but dumbfounded just sounded better written. Anyways, I've typed a lot, and if anybody reads this far, I'll be impressed.

The school must've just gotten new camera's, and they are pretty nice. They have a setting that takes panoramic pictures all in one shot. It also lets you take them up and down! I had fun with it and here's some of the photos. after their edits.

1. I warmed the colors up in this photo, burned the edges and also used an action called Yin/Yang, that helped me mask out a bad shadow.

2. I brightened this up a little and then I burned the sky some to bring out the color.

3. I boosted the colors a little, and used the burn and dodge to clean it up.

I liked the other panoramic better, but I thought I better do one the real way to learn how to do it in photoshop and to get full credit! :)

4. Three photo panoramic. I had to close stamp out some cracks in the sky that for some reason showed up in photo shop when I put these together. I also put a burn on the edges and masked out the shadow.

2 Page Layout!

This assignment was really cool. I really liked the first template that we saw in class, so that is the one I decided to use. After editing all my photos I brought them over to the template file in photoshop one by one and put them in with a clipping mask. For some of them I played around with the angles and angled them slightly different than how they were in their original picture. I found some cool quotes on the web about photography so I though they would be fun to add for my text. Btw, since the 2 page layout is so big, I decided to put it up as size 12oo pixels instead of the normal 600 so it could be seen better.

1. I did a few edits on this tree. I used an action to sharpen it and then I played around with the burn and dodge tools to get the sky bluer and the dark ground brighter.

2. For the stairs I warmed up the colors with an action and then burned the edges.

3. I used an action called "rusty cage action," and I thought it added a cool effect.

4. I didn't really need to edit this, but i sharpened it a little and warmed it up.

5. I slightly made it brighter and then sharpened it.

6. I sharpened this.

7. For this I just sharpened and burned it.
